The downside of sewing a coat and taking it slow means I have nothing new to share. But don’t think that’s going to stop me! It’s time to give my old makes some love! This is a @tillybuttons cleo made in @tfgfabrics stretch denim and my favourite French Terry kinder cardigan that by @thatwendyward that I wear all the time – it goes with absolutely everything! The top is an old rtw favourite – I think from vero moda) Image description : Helen is wearing a blue denim dungaree dress with an orange top underneath and a long grey cardigan on top. #b36w29h39 #measurementsmovement #sewreworn #sewreshare #slowsewing #loveyourclothes #sewobsessed #sewyourown #sewingfun #sewingismytherapy #mywonderfulworldofsewing #imakemyclothes #imakemyownclothes #diyootd #memadeeveryday #wearhandmade #diyfashion #slowfashionmovement #fashrev #sewingcleo #kindercardigan #tatb #tillyandthebuttons #miymaker #sewinfwithknits

I’m not going to lie, progress on my coat is very slow! I’ve not been feeling so well again this week and everything just takes a lot more energy than usual. My sewing fix this weekend so far has been getting some pattern hacking ideas from @thriftystitcher and dreaming about the next steps of construction for this coat. I did manage to sew the label into the facing earlier in the week though – so at least that’s some progress! Label by @kylieandthemachine Fabric from @minervadotcom gifted in exchange for a blog post Image description: blue /black boucle fabric with a black label sewn on.
